Now Playing Utah

Now Playing Utah is a conglomeration of several non-profit arts and tourism associations in Utah. They decided to combine all of their boards into one unit.

I was asked to create a new logo and brand to revitalize their image as Utah’s best source for entertainment and arts. The previous logo was looking a bit dated and they needed something with more “oomf!” to it.

The solution we came up with was to make a logo and mark that enhance the “volume” of the brand while paying hommage to all things Utah. Inspired by our national parks, the Great Salt Lake, and the balancing red rocks of southern Utah, I wanted to create a brand that brought everything that makes us Utah was provided in a minimal way that spoke to the brand.
